Sarah + Jim had their Lake Louise wedding at Baker Creek Mountain Resort last June. They came all the way from California with family and friends from all over the United States (including Indiana where Jim is originally from). Though the weather was less than perfect when they arrived, the couple still managed to get out and see the sights around Lake Louise and Banff. They enjoyed sightseeing and dinner at The Post Hotel in Lake Louise and even had a chance to do some activities with their wedding party. Jim took the guys canoeing, while we arranged for Sarah and her girls to enjoy a hike to the Tea House in Lake Louise and yoga along the way with eco-instructor Ronna.

With high hopes of good weather, the couple decided on an outdoor ceremony by Baker Creek. Unfortunately, the rain continued to fall (and quite heavy at times). Sarah was undeterred. Despite the rain, she was determined to have an outdoor ceremony rather than use the indoor back-up at Baker Creek Mountain Resort. Jim and his best man Tim (and the boys) got to work setting up small tents so guests could stay dry. With lots of umbrellas and positive attitudes, the couple married outside.
Sarah Mayerson Designs provided the always beautiful bouquet and centerpieces.
For their Lake Louise wedding at the beautiful Baker Creek Mountain Resort, we transformed the Bistro with chivari chairs and pretty linens.
Sarah looked gorgeous on her wedding day!
The couple surprised their wedding party with gifts that were presented in engraved wood boxes.
For the guest seating chart, we used an old window frame. The tables were named after local mountains and lakes.
