Stacy and Adam’s Canmore mountain wedding took place at the Iron Goat last year (I know I am just getting around to blogging about it!).
I first met Stacy and Adam as they were guests at another wedding we designed (Caroline and Brock’s winter wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge). As it was, Caroline (the bride from the other wedding) was in Stacy’s bridal party!
Stacy is a wedding planner’s dream! She was super organized and she had all our forms filled out almost immediately. She actually said she loved the spreadsheets and forms! A bride like Stacy makes our job really easy! Adam’s a laid back kind of guy and together they make a sweet couple.
Stacy came in knowing exactly what she wanted and she has some serious design skills as you will see. She designed all the wedding stationery herself! I particularly loved the invites, programs, and menus!
All photos by the talented husband / wife team Abby + Dave!
Here are Stacy and Adam’s ceremony programs and wedding wands.
Tracey from Occasional Bloom provided the beautiful flowers. I am loving Adam’s suit and tie as well! The wood stumps are from trees that had fallen down on our property.
We made some wood table numbers for Stacy and Adam. Each table number was designed after wildlife found in the Rocky Mountains. The back of each table number had a little story explaining its significance and a story about their sightings of the animals.
Looking good…
The beautiful cakes were from Cake Sensations.
Stacy made cookies for guest favors and the packaging was so adorable. They also served as “escort cards”. Each cookie package had a tag with a picture of an animal that corresponded with the wildlife table markers.
I love that Stacy used the same cake server that her mother and father used at their wedding. It was engraved for her mother and father and now is engraved with Stacy and Adam’s names and wedding date as well.
This was the first of many dances as the newly married Mr. and Mrs. danced the evening away at their Canmore mountain wedding. I love Stacy and Adam’s guest book. They used bottles of wine and guests filled with notes of advice for the happy couple.
I love that Stacy and Adam really wanted their guests to have a great time. They had a fun photo booth for their guests (Abby + Dave offer the service and do a really great job including backdrop and props!).
We made this custom sign for Stacy and Adam based on Stacy’s design idea.
Wishing you both many, many happy years together Stacy and Adam!
