Banff Wedding Planner / Re-cap Canadian Rocky Mountain Wedding Tips
ShareRe-Post Tip #28 – If you’re planning a wedding in the mountains, carefully consider the items you will need to take to the site (originally posted January 11, 2011). Having a wedding in the beautiful outdoors is a great experience for the adventurous; however, it can be more challenging logistically. Whether you’re planning an outdoor [...]

Western Inspired Wedding Shoot
Shareby Sharon Auld A while back I had a meeting with my friend Jesse Hisco from HIS.CO Photography to talk about an upcoming wedding we would both be working together on. Our talk quickly turned to a stylized wedding shoot that Jesse was putting together. Jesse told me his idea to feature a modern, organic [...]

Wedding Style – A Nod to the Past
Shareby Sharon Auld It’s always interesting to see old photographs of weddings from yesteryear. These photographs are taken from BHLDN, Anthropologie‘s new Bridal Store. If you aren’t familiar with BHLDN, it is really worth a look! I love their vintage yet modern stylings. They have everything from wedding gowns, to shoes, to hair pieces and other [...]

Get Creative with your Wedding Cake
‘m not talking about weird and wacky cakes that look like they are something straight out of Alice in Wonderland (but that would be okay too if it’s what you love). I just love the idea of choosing unique and interesting cakes for a wedding. Whether you are going with one large cake or several small cakes, choose flavors that you and your partner really love. You don’t have to stick to the list of flavors suggested by your baker either. Why not ask if they are willing to try something different and creative (of course you may want to sample it first)?

Rustic Glam Winter Wedding
Shareby Sharon Auld For our January 2011 Wedding Fair booth, we wanted to create a design that was not only reflective of the Naturally Chic brand, but also reflective of the many beautiful mountain lodges found in our area. Tired of Winter? Winter Wedding Inspirations to Change Your Mind
Shareby Sharon Auld It’s no secret that we love winter weddings. It’s actually funny; we’re constantly hearing people on Twitter and Facebook talking about the cold weather and how sick of winter they are. While we love summer as much as the next person, it’s hard not to notice that more and more couples are [...]
