Carnival Themed weddings are hugely popular right now and it’s no wonder! So fun; especially if you are lucky enough to find an actual carnival venue complete with a carousel or ferris wheel! But, if you can’t find a venue with real rides, why not re-create the carnival atmosphere for your wedding? You could have refreshment stands, games, cotton candy, a photo booth etc.? The ideas are unlimited!
For our booth at 2010 Bridal Expo, we wanted to do something a little different and a carnival theme was something we thought we could have some creative fun with, while still having an eco-friendly flair. For our booth, we did a lot of Do-It-Yourself, including painting old frames, refinishing chairs and an old dresser for our sweet table, and building our own signs, ticket booth and refreshments stands. We also frequented garage sales and flea markets to find lots of vintage pieces…lace doilies, milk glass vases, silver trays, frames, and more.

Here’s the photo booth backdrop we used our carnival wedding booth. Photo booths are SO much fun especially when you have a beautiful backdrop, frames and props (we rent backdrops, chalkboard bubbles, props and more through our Naturally Chic Designs division). Your guests will have so much fun!
