Tip # 22 Have all your guests stay in the same location if possible.
One of the nice benefits of having a destination wedding in the mountains is that you get to spend lots of time with family and friends. Destination weddings in the mountains are rarely just one day and typically span over an entire weekend. If all your guests are staying in the same location, not only will you get to spend more time with your guests, but your guests will also have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other as well. If, however, your guests are spread out in different venues all over the mountains, they’ll likely not spend much time together apart from your wedding.
To solve this, only provide information in your save-the-dates or invites, on a couple of hotels or condos that are close together and near the reception site (options in different prices ranges are always appreciated). Also, look for reception venues with on-site accommodations with rooms of varying price points. This way, all your guests will be close to the party and neither you, nor your guests will have to worry about shuttles or taxis at the end of the evening.
Of course, planning accommodations for all your guests can be a huge headache. At Naturally Chic, our team can help you with all your room and block bookings for your mountain wedding. Call 1.888.679.9056 or email email@example.com.
